With summer holidays over for many of us, there’s nothing better than a bit of holiday home eye-candy to lust over so we thought we’d share one of our all time favourite holiday homes situated in the beautiful Mediterranean. We first discovered this gorgeous Corsican home via real living a couple of years ago, we’ve always had an obsession with this French island and this home perfectly blends with the islands unique rugged environment.
Home to Carol Gerland, a fashion PR executive and Fred, a photographer and their two girls Leah and Louise – this house is set amongst the scrub-land with views to the sea. The design of the home was inspired by Arizonian architecture.
The pool makes a fabulous main feature – we love how it looks like an oasis amongst the native scrub plantings.
The relaxed bohemian vibe is carried throughout the home with layered textures and touches of the desert with animal skulls prominently featured.
Set over three levels the home gets gorgeous sea views and panoramic views of the town.
The perfect spot for sunbathing, the home features many different decked areas to capture the sun all day long. We love these leather sunbathing mats!
The pool is perfectly nestled amongst the landscape.
Such a beautifully thought-out home, we would so love to be lazing by the pool and lapping up that gorgeous Mediterranean sunshine right about now!
