We love peeking inside the homes of amazing bloggers, and seeing how they express their style and creativity through their interiors. We’re big fans of 100layercake.com; a gorgeous blog featuring beautifully curated weddings and events, so we were delighted to come across this gorgeous feature on creator Amanda Dawbarn and her amazing LA home.
Amanda’s home, much like her blog features beautiful hero pieces, metallics and a hint of sparkle. We love the eclectic gallery wall in the living room and the geometric lamp is a stand-out piece.
Industrial fittings, stainless steel bench tops and subway tiles make for a stunning galley kitchen. The butchers block island unit is actually from ikea and doubles as a breakfast bar, and also as a place for guests to sit while Amanda whips them up a cocktail.
A chalkboard wall adds a fun casual element to this glamorous apartment which even has a view of the Hollywood sign (ooh la la). The sparkly heart was actually a prop from Amanda’s wedding, and now adorns the entranceway.
Amanda’s office ‘where the magic happens’ is a glam space with a perfectly curated moodboard.
We’re glad we’re not the only ones who like to blog from bed, Amanda’s room has an air of hotel-luxe with touches of gold throughout, and of course, lots of fresh flowers.
Be sure to check out 100layercake for plenty of beautiful wedding inspo, you can also follow them on facebook here.

I’ve recently been inspired to give my entryway a bit of a makeover. A splash of paint, some greenery, a new rug and some HK Living wall hooks are part of the plan.
This is the moodboard I’ve created to keep me inspired, Be sure to stay tuned for the ‘after’ shots.
We love taking a peek inside the homes of fashionista’s – we love to see how they transfer their personal style to their homes. The home of Jen Coleman of Ascot & Hart is no exception, her fab boho style translates into a home full of texture and vintage treasures, while being perfectly on trend.
We’ve been following Jen on instagram for a while so were delighted to see her home featured by the Glitter Guide – one of our ‘Must Follow’ blogs. These are some of our favourite shots from the feature.
How amazing is that pink couch, we love it paired with the texture rug!
Pops of fun colour like the painted mantle add a element of fun
Stay tuned for part two with how to ‘get the look’
