New to the Store – Bones Society

We’re super excited to introduce Bones Society, latest addition to Ses + Jen – The Store. Bones Society is the brainchild of designers Kylie Gunn and Renae Harris and is a high quality designer doggies range of collars, leads, bandanna’s and tags to pimp your pooch.

With mad love for their pups Zoey and Rocky and nearly 18 years of combined experience working in the fashion industry – they decided that it was time their pups benefited from their design skills and that’s how Bones Society was born. Kylie has always had a soft spot for the Australian Animal Welfare League and so Bones Society is also their way of giving back as 10% of every purchase goes to the League.

BS1Made from the highest quality leather, nylon rope and brass hardware each piece is designed with comfort and strength in mind.

The captain collection is designed with the sea loving pup in mind with its nautical rope and copper metal hardware.

The good times collection is perfect for the cafe-loving pup with its on-trend aztec braid and specially designed cafe-clip.

The shibori bandanna is made from the softest 100% hand dyed cotton and perfect paired with a collar or worn alone.

Trending – The Evil Eye

evil eye trendAnyone who’s travelled to Greece will have come across the evil eye motif. Synonymous with greek culture the evil eye or ‘nazar’ dates back over 5,000 years and was believed to protect its owner from evil spirits, jealousy and ‘ill will’ by others.

Recently the evil eye has been popping up in street fashion, homewares and textiles. Mara Hoffman one of our fave designers created a range of homewares and fashion pieces depicting the motif.

We love the Ourlieu – Evil eye clutch from their recent La Playa collection, its the perfect nod to the trend. Available now from Ses + Jen – The Store.

Trend Watch – Raspberry Sorbet

It all started with this image by Boston Pollen, a bouquet of rich berries, plums and scarlets… then an obsession began. We can’t get enough of the new season fashion and interior pieces filling our feed in multiple shades of this gorgeous hue.

Here are a few of our finds so far that channel this autumnal berry hue. We love the textures of our springbok hide clutch with shots of deep plum and pinks, and it looks fab with the new season country road fedora and a slick of Mac rebel lipstick!
