Every year we theme our Christmas lunch table, this year the theme was Peace, Love and Pineapples. We kept the traditional Christmas sentiments of Peace and Love and added a tropical twist with pineapple vases filled with lilies, delphiniums and bells of island.
To bring in the peace element we cut plywood peace signs out with a jigsaw and also made gingerbread peace cookies to adorn the leafy vintage plates.

Our Bonnie & Neil runner tied in the natural wood of the table and created the perfect base for our pineapple vases.
We made our own crackers to tie in the magenta and orange colour palette and filled them with chocolate treats for the boys and jewelled bracelets for the girls.
On the menu was glazed Christmas ham, new potatoes, green salad and toasty rolls, washed down with our favourite Petit Syrah, Caravan.
Stay tuned for how we created out pineapple centrepiece arrangements.

We have been obsessing over the shibori trend for sometime now, perfect for channelling our inner-boho and creating the feel of an endless summer. If you don’t know what shibori is… It’s a Japanese fabric dying using twisting, folding, binding & compressing in order to produce unique and beautiful patterns once dyed, often with indigo ink. The clever manipulation of fabric in this way creates patterns that look almost 3d!
