Sydney Must See – Koskela

After years of oohing at aahing at images of the iconic Kosekla based in Sydney’s Rosebery, we finally had a chance for a fleeting visit last month.

kos6This place is a Mecca of the who’s who of the Australian design world, with art by Rowena Martinich, Rachel Castle linen, and soft furnishings from Bonnie & Neil, every turn in this former Rosella canning factory reveals more treasures.

kos9This desk was one of our favourites, we love the neon pops against the washed out timber.

The Sydney Series – The Grounds of Alexandria

On our last day in Sydney we were delighted to sneak in a visit to the botanical wonderland that is the Grounds of Alexandria. Once an industrial warehouse, now converted into somewhat of a small town incorporating the garden, the potting shed – a restaurant, a bakery, a roasting house and even a small area for barnyard animals!

The coffee was amazing, the burgers even better and we were charmed by the resident dog who is well and truly at home at the Grounds. This place is definitely a must-do next time you’re in Sydney – pop in for a bite or one of their incredible cold brew tiramisu – you won’t be disappointed.

Bondi Dreaming – Get The Look

We’re back from our whirlwind trip to Sydney, where we spend five days sourcing all sorts of fabulous goodies for Ses + Jen – The store. While we were there we spent most of our time in the famed Bondi Beach, exploring the streets, spotting the famous ‘East Side Beaches’ street art and sampling the best food and funky eating spots that Bondi has to offer.

We just love the relaxed boho-vibe that Bondi has to offer, and so have put together our a selection of pieces inspired by our trip, so you can shop the look and indulge in a little Bondi goodness for your home.
