On our recent visit to Melbourne we took a visit to High St, Parahan. From the rustic door, framed by wooden altar candles, to the eye candy window displays we slipped into another world … The home of Fenton & Fenton
A riot of colour and texture greeted us, from rugs on the floor to oversized art on the walls and the wire chandeliers hanging from the vaulted ceilings. Botanicals were nestled in vessels from Pop & Scott, and beautiful vignettes were created with concrete art from Design twins, bone inlay trays and potted cacti.
Inspired by her world travels Lucy Fenton started her shop as a mixture of old and new, seen by the bright vintage chairs, bone inlay furniture and the odd skull in a bright fluoro. Walking into Fenton & Fenton is like walking into a perfectly edited home, what makes it even better is the lovely service from the staff – it felt like we had called in to see an old friend.
A wide staircase lead upstairs to the space housing Mr Fentons rugs, there was a huge selection available to purchase off the floor and they also make to order, to fit with your colour scheme or size!
